Open air cinema
Pack a blanket and your favourite snacks and head to Lister gardens this August for a unique outdoor cinema experience. Watch either Top Gun or Wallace and Gromit in beautiful gardens overlooking Lyme Bay.
Torchlight parade
Every year hundreds of people join a torchlight parade through Lyme Regis as part of the Regatta and Carnival celebrations. The parade starts at Lister gardens before proceeding to the beach, where a beacon is lit. The procession is led by the Mayor and Mayoress and is a fantastic spectacle for both participants and onlookers.
Carnival procession
Carnival week wouldn’t be the same without the procession, which takes place at 8pm on Saturday 10th August. Watch colourful floats, bands and majorettes as they walk through the town to cheers from the waiting crowd.
Family friendly activities
