Hive Beach to West Bay
The coastal walking path at Hive Beach is perfect for those who want to take a dog-friendly stroll in West Dorset. The walk takes about 35 minutes to complete and offers beautiful views of Burton Cliff, known for its alternating hard and soft layers. If you'd like, you can also explore Burton Bradstock, which is home to pretty thatched cottages. The walk starts and ends at Hive Beach Car Park. We highly recommend popping into the acclaimed Hive Beach Cafe to refuel after your walk!
Lyme Regis to Charmouth Beach
The 5-mile Lyme Regis and Charmouth Beach route is well-signposted and offers stunning views. It takes you over the back of Spittles, a sloping cliff, and during the spring and summer, you’ll pass through beautiful bluebell woodlands. The route also takes you through the Lyme Regis Golf Course before arriving at Charmouth Beach. You can take the X51 or X53 bus from Newlands Holiday Park to Lyme Regis and then walk back to our caravan site from Charmouth Beach.

Church Cliff Walk
For those seeking a quieter coastal walking experience, the Church Cliff Walk is an excellent choice. The Church Cliff Walk is a seawall that opened in 2015, providing much better access to the fossil beach at East Cliff. The path starts at the Charmouth Road car park.
Golden Cap Estate
This circular 4-mile walk to Golden Cap from Seatown consists of gravel paths, grass, and stairs. It's an ideal choice for individuals seeking a more challenging route. The hike takes you to the highest spot on the South Coast and passes by a ruined church and Langdon Hill.
