3) Smugglers Easter Egg Hunt
The Charmouth Shark Tooth Gang smugglers have discovered some rare Jurassic Coast Easter eggs in a shipwreck off the shores of Lyme Regis. They have hidden all of the eggs in shops around Lyme Regis town, leaving clues for you to solve to locate them. Once participants have successfully located the 9 missing eggs you will be able to claim a chocolatey reward! Each trail is £3, which can be purchased at Roly’s Fudge shop. The trail will be taking place from the 1st April – 15th and are available to collect from 10:00 – 17:00 daily.
62 Broad Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset DT7 3QF 07896 004278
While you are at Roly’s Fudge Shop you must try the variety of fudge they have to offer! With flavours ranging from classic fudge to Cherry Bakewell and Lemon Meringue, they also have some Easter themed flavours such as Eton Mess and Hot Cross Bun! If you are lucky you may also visit on a day when they have piles of fudge on the front bench being prepared and portioned, the smells are delightful!
Lyme Regis’ car parks can get very busy very quickly during school holidays and on sunny days! If you are planning on heading down to the town during Easter do think ahead for parking. Holmbush Car Park is on of Lyme’s biggest carparks, with parking for £2 all day! There is a pretty steep hill down to the Cobb from this car Park, not as bad if you take the hill down through the town or gardens. There is Monmouth Car Park down near the Cobb and Harbour which will allow you to walk along the seafront to the town, though this car park charges from £1.20 an hour.

Most places in Seaton are no more than a stone’s throw away from the seafront. Seaton has a level promenade, great for kids to ride their bikes, scooters, even rollerblading. It also makes for an easy walk with a pushchair. You can walk from one end right to the other of the beach, a lovely little walk in the afternoon sun.
