The very first Charmouth Folk Festival is set to take place across multiple venues this weekend in the beautiful West Dorset village. The event kicks off on Friday September 27th starting at 7:30 at The Community Hall and runs to Sunday September 29th.
Located on the stunning Jurassic Coast, the event will feature numerous live performances just a stone's throw from our
Charmouth Holiday Park. Many of the events will take place indoors – so there'll be no need to have any concerns about the weather.
Venues
Charmouth is a small village covering an area of just one square kilometre, which makes navigating from each venue quite easy. Venues consist of Charmouth Community Hall, St. Andrew's Church, Charmouth Primary School, The Royal Oak, The George, Manor Farm Holiday Centre, Charmouth Library and Fernhill Hotel. We even have a performance from Nick Dow at our holiday park at Newlands as part of the festival. We're hosting this special performance from 8:30pm on Saturday 28th September
Performers
Six headline acts will perform over the weekend. These include Richard Digance, John Watterson, Green Diesel, Grant Baynham, Folklaw and Keith Christmas. Entry to see the headline artists is ticketed. Many more performances are scheduled for the weekend's festivities.
