Bridport Food Festival 2021

Bridport Food Festival is a celebration of everything delicious in the Bridport Area. This year's festival will take place from Sunday 13th June to Friday 25th June. The Food & Drink Market will go ahead on Saturday 19th June on the Millennium Green in Bridport Town Centre. The market will be open from 9.30 – 5.30 pm. We are excited the 2021 event is going ahead and recommend the 12-day festival - foodies will love it!

About Bridport Food Festival

Bridport Food Festival's first event was held in 2004 and has expanded over the years. In recent years the event has attracted in the region of 3000 people and includes a range of things to see and do. Historically the event has included a food and drink market, taste trail, cookery demonstrations, beer festival and so much more. There really is something for everyone!

What's on at Bridport Food Festival 2021

Ropemaker's Food & Drink Quiz Night

The Ropemakers are putting on their popular food and drink quiz. Team of 6 or less are invited to book in advance with the Bridport pub for the quiz which takes place on Tuesday 15th June, starting a 8pm in the Ropemakers.

All social distancing rules will be in place for the quiz.

Activities for all ages

The event organisers have created a variety of food-related activities for all ages to get involved with. Anyone participating is encouraged to share their results from an activity with the event team.

Activities for under 16 years:

Bridport Food Festival makes sure its great fun to get involved with a wide variety of activities. The emphasis is very much on creativity and sharing on social media. Activities such as making a face out of food and designing an event poster for the event are just examples of many great ideas. See more on the event website.

'Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff!'

'Friendly staff, the staff in the shop was incredibly welcoming! Loved how we were escorted to our pitch and also offered help with putting the caravan on the pitch. Swimming pool was small but ideal, good sauna! Outdoor pool was lovely also! Facilities were spotless considering we had awful weather they work extremely hard! Very clean site, great value for money!'

Good location with Charmouth beach and lyme regis near. Nice facilities on site and nice rooms. The tow bar restaurant is a gem with great food. Liked the activities on our stay like bingo. Overall a good stay and would love to come back again.
 

"Everything we needed"

Very tidy site, well laid out and well equipped. Towbar restaurant offered a good selection of quality food at all meal times, very good value for money and super friendly service. There is a small shop on site for all your essentials with access to another slightly larger shop in the village. Two pools and children’s play areas plus a gaming room were a real bonus. Shower and toilet blocks were cleaned regularly and always kept in good order. Location is fantastic, especially for avid fossil hunters with Charmouth beach around 20 minutes easy walk away through the village.
 

"What a wonderful place"

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Newlands. We stayed in the studio apartment block down the end (A17). The apartment was incredibly clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay. My twin sons (3.5 years old) had the twin room, mum had the double bed, and I stayed on a blow up mattress that I brought with. We were very comfy.
