Train Ride
Pecorama boasts a collection of twelve trains, each with a fascinating history. With trains running all day, you have the freedom to explore the site at your own pace and select the most convenient time for your one free train journey. The train takes you on a delightful ride around the park and through a tunnel, where you will discover spectacular views over Beer and the sea. On clear days you can see Portland in the far distance.
Exhibition
If your child loves trains and motor vehicles then you have to visit the exhibition area. It has a great selection of train displays for kids to explore. One of the major highlights is an intricate small model village, with moving trains travelling across the little town. It's a hit with visitors young and old.
Play Area
Pecorama has not one, but four thrilling outdoor play areas suitable for children of all ages. These playgrounds are equipped with plenty of enjoyable apparatus’, including swings, climbing frames and more importantly, their Pirate Ship! Your children will be thanking you afterwards, as it gives them a great chance to make new friends and let their imagination run wild!
The Millennium Gardens
For those who love nature and gardens, Pecorama has a range of celestial themed gardens to discover. The gardens were created by designer, Naila Green and have a colour schemed to match the Sun, Moon and Rainbows.
Nestled within the Moon Garden, you’ll discover The Grotto, which uses seashells to highlight a Dolphin Sculpture gracefully soaring out of the sea, trying to reach the moon. It is a mesmerising piece of art that is inspired by the mythological sea theme.
Pecorama is also home to The Secret Garden, which is hidden somewhere on the site. It is separated from the main attraction to ensure an idyllic space for tranquillity. Adults and children love searching for this captivating garden.
The Wildway
The site also has a lovely woodland walking area called The Wildway to explore. It is surrounded by wonderful natural greenery and wildlife, with a mini lake that is home to frogs and toads. Spend some time strolling around the grounds, while taking in the soothing atmosphere. There is also a zip-wire for kids to enjoy.
