The Tow Bar and Restaurant in Charmouth offers a welcoming space for both guests and non-residents to enjoy a homemade meal and a refreshing drink with loved ones. It’s a great place to eat in Dorset during your holiday stay at Newlands Holiday Park. Designed in collaboration with 3idog design, the open-plan feel is complemented by tucked-away, cosy areas.

Opening times vary during the low season, however, will be open daily from 9am during high season.

Onsite Shop

The onsite SPAR shop has all the essentials you will need during your stay here at Newlands. They offer freshly baked bread and pastries that you can pre-order daily, along with fresh sandwiches, daily newspapers, souvenirs, a Costa coffee machine, camping and touring essentials, home essentials, as well as alcohol and tobacco. Whether you need to stock up on groceries or grab a quick snack, the SPAR shop has got you covered.

Leisure Centre

Our holiday park in Dorset offers a wide range of facilities at Newlands Leisure Centre to make your getaway break a relaxing one. This includes our indoor and outdoor pool, as well as the splashzone, which provides perfect opportunities to take a dip and cool off. Whether it's raining or sunny outside, you can always enjoy a refreshing swim.

It is £3.50 per person per session for on-site guests, and £5 for off-site guests. If you want to book the indoor pool, you can easily do so online in hour slots. The outdoor pool is more flexible in terms of times, but during high season, there may be limits on usage to ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the facilities.

Our on-site mini gym is available for adult guests to use when staying at our holiday park in Dorset. You can choose to go for a run on the treadmill, row on the rowing machine or lift weights to build up muscle. The panoramic views of the stunning Dorset countryside are sure to keep you motivated and energised throughout your workout.

Use of the gym is £3.50 per session for on-site guests, and £5 for off-site guests. Just simply turn up at reception, pay and sign in.

At Newlands Holiday Park in Charmouth, we are thrilled to provide an array of exciting play areas that will make your kids' stay unforgettable!

Outdoor Play Areas

When the sun is shining, our outdoor adventure playground is the perfect spot for your little ones to climb, swing, and zip-wire to their heart's content. We also have a Tom Thumb toddler area specifically designed for our younger guests, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable stay.

We also have a recreational area which is often used for sports such as football and rounders during the high season.

Indoor Play Areas

Dino Dan's Den - With a wide variety of activities for the younger visitors to blow off some steam and have fun. Also, near the main Tow Bar and Restaurant, we have a fully-equipped games room, complete with 2p machines, motorbike machines, air hockey, and so much more.

Everything you need for a camping holiday, from keeping yourself clean, to your clothes, to your van - our camping facilities has it all!

WiFi

The WiFi access is available over most of the park. The Wifi is FREE & provided by Club Wifi. We continue to invest heavily in this service, however as Newlands is on a hillside with lots of trees and shrubs and with many guests logging in at the same time, the service may not be as you have at home. The WiFi is designed to allow you to browse the internet and send and receive emails rather than stream videos and movies.

Non Residents

All of our facilities are open to non-residents too!

Feel free to come and make use of the bar and restaurant and our shop all season.

During high season (school holidays) we reserve our pool slots for our on-site guests to allow fair chance for all our guests to use this facility. We do counter balance this by keeping the pool open for non-residents over the winter, when we are closed to guests.
